You will have the opportunity to interview your preferred candidate through video calls. We encourage open conversations to ensure a genuine connection and mutual expectations.
After a successful match, we take care of the administrative process, including visa procedures, program requirements, and coordination with the relevant authorities.
Once everything is approved, your au pair arrives in the Netherlands and becomes part of your family. We remain available throughout the placement to provide guidance and support whenever needed.

A rematch placement applies when an au pair is already in the Netherlands and transfers to a
new host family during their au pair year.
An au pair is a young adult who participates in a cultural exchange program while living with a host family. In exchange for room, board, and pocket money, an au pair assists with childcare and light household duties related to the children.
Host families provide a private room, meals, pocket money, health insurance, and a safe, welcoming environment. Families are also expected to support the cultural exchange aspect of the program.
The Dutch government sets the maximum monthly pocket money amount. Currently, this is €340 per month. We will provide the latest information and guidance during the application process.

In the event that a placement cannot continue despite these efforts, we will assist both the host family and the au pair throughout the rematch process and help explore suitable alternatives.
Yes. Nest AuPair Agency guides families and au pairs through the entire application process and handles the necessary documentation and procedures as a recognized sponsor.
We recommend starting the process at least 2 to 4 months before your preferred arrival date. This allows sufficient time for matching, interviews, paperwork, and visa processing.
